This conference probed more deeply into the technological singularity, examining the philosophical, psychological and ethical issues that arise out of the numerous research projects going on around the globe that seek to emulate and exceed human intelligence, and the products and abilities that stem from it.

The conference talks were grouped broadly into seven themes:
